Fewer keystrokes per shipment.

Every load creates a trail of emails: the quote request, the booking, the CMR, the proof of delivery, the invoice. Agents read that trail, put the data where it belongs and chase what is missing; planners keep planning.

Short answer

For logistics, freight-forwarding and warehousing companies, ORVL builds AI agents that answer spot-quote requests with your rates for planner approval, read CMRs, packing lists and supplier invoices into your TMS or ERP, chase missing proofs of delivery and send a daily report on shipments, margins and exceptions. A single system starts at €3,900 (AED 15,900) excl. VAT. Oravel is based in Dubai and works with Dutch and Belgian firms remotely.

The situation

Margins are thin; admin is not.

Road transport and forwarding run on small margins per shipment, and much of the office time goes to retyping: order details from a customer's email into the TMS, invoice lines from a subcontractor's PDF into the ERP, and status questions answered one phone call at a time.

Quote requests are a race. A shipper asking for a rate from Venlo to Lyon usually asks several companies, and the one that comes back first with a clear price often gets the load. Late at night or during peak planning hours, those requests wait.

Workflows we automate first

Where AI earns its keep.

01Spot-quote replies

Route, weight, loading metres and dates read from the request; a price from your rate card drafted for a planner to approve.

02Order entry

Transport orders from email and PDF turned into TMS bookings for review.

03Document reading

CMRs, packing lists, delivery notes and subcontractor invoices read and matched to the shipment.

04POD chasing

Missing proofs of delivery requested from drivers or subcontractors before invoicing stalls.

05Daily operations report

Shipments, on-time rate, open PODs and margin per customer, with a short written summary.

Rules that apply

Built around the rules.

Most of this work is B2B, but driver and contact details are still personal data, and customs and dangerous-goods decisions carry legal weight.

AVG/GDPR (EU) and UAE PDPL for driver names, phone numbers and contact details in documents
Customs declarations, classification and dangerous-goods (ADR) decisions stay with your qualified staff; the agent only prepares data
Prices and surcharges quoted only from your rate cards; anything outside them goes to a planner
Electronic consignment notes (e-CMR) and the EU eFTI rules are changing how transport documents are exchanged; we build on what your TMS supports today

Proof, honestly

What we can show you.

We have not published a logistics client case yet. What we can show is document reading on sample CMRs and invoices, with each extracted field linked back to where it came from in the PDF.

The Blueprint starts by counting how many documents and quote requests you receive per week and how long each takes, so the target is based on your own numbers.

FAQ

Common questions.

Can it work with our TMS?

If your TMS has an API or accepts imports (many do, for example Boltrics, CarLo and CargoWise), yes. Otherwise the agent prepares a structured file that a planner imports. The Blueprint checks your system first.

Will it send prices to customers by itself?

Only if you allow it for lanes and weights where your rate card is unambiguous. Most firms start with drafted quotes that a planner approves in one click.

Does it handle documents in German and French?

Yes. CMRs, invoices and emails in Dutch, English, German and French are read the same way.

Does it do customs declarations?

No. It can collect and check the data your declarants need, but declarations and classification stay with qualified people.
