Twinfield, minus the typing.

Twinfield is where many Dutch accountancy firms and their clients keep the books. The work around it, chasing documents, coding invoices, checking open items, is where the hours go. Agents take the repetitive part.

Short answer

ORVL connects AI agents to Twinfield through its web services, authorised with OAuth2 through a Wolters Kluwer account with the right access, running as a dedicated user. Typical builds: reading purchase invoices from an inbox and preparing them for booking, drafting payment reminders for open items, flagging missing documents per client and writing a month-end summary. Bookings stay with your staff unless you approve otherwise. One system from €3,900 excl. VAT.

What we connect

Invoices, open items, relations, periods.

Twinfield exposes its accounting data (transactions, relations, open items, periods and dimensions) through documented web services. An agent can read what is open, prepare what needs booking and report what is missing, client by client.

For accountancy firms the value sits around the ledger: getting documents in on time, coding them consistently and spotting what doesn't add up before a person has to look. The agent does that first pass; your staff check and book.

Typical builds

What agents do in Twinfield.

01Invoice intake

Purchase invoices read from email or a portal, supplier and amounts extracted, prepared for booking with a suggested ledger code.

02Missing documents

A weekly list per client of bank lines without a document, with a polite request drafted to the client.

03Payment reminders

Reminders for overdue sales invoices drafted per relation; your team approves before sending.

04Month-end check

Open items, unusual amounts and unbooked periods summarised per administration.

05Client questions

Answers to 'has my invoice been paid?' style questions from the ledger, with hand-off for anything advisory.

Access & security

How access works.

Accounting data is sensitive and often belongs to your clients, so access is narrow and logged.

OAuth2 authorisation through Wolters Kluwer; access can be revoked at any time
A dedicated user per firm, limited to the administrations in scope
Agent prepares, staff book: no automatic posting unless you agree it in writing
Processing in the EU and a data processing agreement (verwerkersovereenkomst) as standard

FAQ

Common questions.

Does the agent post bookings itself?

Not by default. It prepares the booking and a person approves it. Some firms later allow automatic posting for simple, recurring suppliers; that is your decision.

We use Basecone or another scan tool already. Do we still need this?

Maybe not for invoice reading. We usually add what scan tools don't do: chasing missing documents, answering client questions and month-end checks.

Is the API available on our Twinfield subscription?

Access to the web services depends on your account and setup. We check it in the AI Blueprint before quoting.
