Odoo's external API gives access to the same models as the interface (sales orders, invoices, products, contacts, CRM leads), limited by the access rights of the user we connect as.
We create a dedicated Odoo user for the agent, so its rights are explicit and every change it makes is attributed to it in the chatter.

Does it work on Odoo Online?
Yes if your plan includes external API access; otherwise Odoo.sh or self-hosted. The Blueprint checks your plan.
Can you build custom Odoo modules?
For the AI layer we usually avoid custom modules and use the API, which keeps upgrades simple.
Which Odoo versions?
Current supported versions. Older versions may work, depending on the API.
